Sauced Bar and Oven

They consistently close well before the posted times which has resulted in me making blank trips. This time I called at 7:30 to make sure that they would remain open until 9 as the posted time states. The girl on the line told me to hold on so she could check. She came back to the line and said "certainly we will be open until 9 or until the last person leaves. Got there at 8 and was turned away saying that the chef told her 5 minutes after I called that he was closing although there were several tables filled with people.

We had a post holiday meet up here between old friends. Everything we ordered was good or great. The wood fired pizza was especially good and interesting, as was desert. I will be back next time I'm in LR.

I had a quick lunch here. Nothing impressive about the soup and sandwich. Soup tasted heavily salty like canned soup, and the sandwich was your average grocery store deli meat sandwich. Fruit salad looked like canned fruit mixed with fresh fruit. In a pinch, it saved the day. I will try again but would get something different.
